We Went To a Pumpkin Patch!!

   About 1 year ago I posted about going to Strom's Pumpkin Patch with Pj's cousins Kellan and Myles. At the time I had no idea that I would be returning to the pumpkin patch this year with an "almost 4 month" old baby! Just goes to show how much can change in one year! This year we went with Pj and Big C's cousin Atticus and his Momma (my dear sister Katie). It was an overcast day which was perfect for taking some pictures! I think I am getting better at this photography thing - practice makes perfect"ish".

Proof that Big C came to the pumpkin patch! He's just a little too small to be propped up against pumpkins for picture taking - We'll wait for next year ;).

Pj had a lot of fun running around and looking at all the "punkins". She helped me pick out 1 for carving and 2 for making puree for Big C (to be frozen until he starts to eat solids).

   Once again the rest of Strom's was closed but we didn't mind! We had a fun morning of picture taking and exploring. Pj really enjoyed running around and climbing on the pumpkins and the antique wagon that they had set up for picture opportunities. Its a beautiful farm! Maybe next year we'll actually make it out on a weekend when the rest of the farm is open - they have mazes and lots of activities for the kiddos (and I think Pj will be at an age where she will appreciate some of the other things the farm has to offer). Its always a fun time with Katie and Atticus and its was so nice to share this typical Autumn experience with them!
